Aero Mint

Mmmm, mum bought me a peppermint Aero easter egg, and I ate the bar last night, sooooo good!

Went to the beach at Caravelos today, and I'm a little bit tanned, especially in the face department! Was an ok day, nice to be out of the flat!

Feeling slowly less homesick, but I'm sure I'll be fine in the end. I've realised that I do like my home comforts, and could probably not do the whole 'travelling staying in dorm rooms' thing, as I like my personal space. I'd travel, but either camp, or stay in hotels. I don't care what people say about that, but that's my way of travelling!

I also realised that it's companionship that I miss most, either in the form of established friends or Mark. I honestly think that if I were here with say Mark or my sister, I'd be fine. I find it hard to talk to strangers, and don't usually talk to people unless they talk to me first, I think it's a whole self confidence thing! Anyway, I'm not gonna get hung up on it, and I'm just going to do things my way, and live my life as I want to, without thinking that I have to live up to other people's standards.

I have people in the flat that I can talk to when they're in, and I have Mike to talk to at uni. I think I should just go out a few times and whatever, dance, have a couple of drinks, even if it's on my own. We're planning to go to Lux this weekend, so that should be fun to see, especially now that I have money! Plus ERASMUS are giving me a further £495, so it's all good.

What's not good is that I have to fill in my forms for next year's loan etc.! PAH!
